So, why 2ne1? E kasi, ganito 'yan.

The first MV of 2ne1 was ages ago. Eto 'yung kasagsagan ng K drama szn ko sa primetime. LOL. I guess, naging escape ko siya nung inalagaan ko nanay ko so mostly nasa bahay lang talaga ako with a very few galaan modes ages ago din.

Wala namang super pasavogue sa MV nila, honestly. Pero surely, quirky levels 10000000x. Lalo na may PH reprezent na 'di mo talaga aakalain na from sobrang ems vibes, naging part ng Pinoy pop cult and then naging part na ng global K pop group, chapter two. Saka vibe na vibe ko na eccentric and 'di sila nagpapahuli sa mga paganaps ng Western counterparts nila. Na-amaze talaga ako na yung mga music channels, na-convert. Naging Asian invasion ang takada. PLUS, the sound engineering is not kidding at all. PERIOD.

Dance moves, saks lang. Minsan may mga MVs na hala, bakit ganun lang? Anong gustong itawid pero ang importante, best effort maging experimental. EMS. Parang naging experimental mini films kasi for me ang mga pasavogue ng 2ne1. 'Yung 'di sila takot mag-try ng something out of the box. Parang walang box or kung meron mang, custom made box. AYWAW. Saka parang for me lang a, medyo na-threaten din kasi ang global music scene kasi sumikat talaga sila na pakak at sumasapak. For me, power play slays the day pa rin. Pero, kumapit pa rin sila. Bad trip lang na disbanded sila dahil lang sa issue na 'di naman big deal, honestly. HAY. Naiinis na naman ako sa dark side ng Korean un-wonderland shizzzummzzz.

And so, ayun. Pinanood ko ulit curated MVs nila. Hahahahahaha. Kadire pero nakaka-amaze kasi relevant pa rin sila bilang saktong comeback (marketiinnnggg mhieeemaaa) ng Y2K++ fashion and things ngayon. Sige pa, consumerism targeting millennials and feeling millennials na generations. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Also, kasya 'yung vintage shirt na first tour nila sa JP na-score koooo! Tatay kong magaling nung na-receive 'yung package sabi sobrang liit naman daw nung nabili ko. E 'di nung sinukat ko, tigil siya e. Pero, hassle. Nag-plateau na naman tayo so need na talagang mag-exercise sa ngalan ng December kaganapans na ang lapit na talaga.

i hated star lost when i finished it but i reread it the other day and okay naman pala T_T i feel like i did the fic idea some justice. i thought i ruined the song pero oks lang pala. wait really T_T that's how i felt like when i listened to the track. yung bridge is just them falling plus that chorus bit afterwards is just faaaaaalling baka kaya humaba HAHAHA "reading it made me curious what happened to them between the timelines" tbh same but atm i dont have an idea T_T baka magawan ko someday but definitely not anytime soon

Coke Studio Summer Concert 2019 (Coke Studio Season 2)

I don't know where to start, mejo masakit pa yung mata ko from lack of sleep but because the experience was so dope and I wanted to preserve it, sulat ko muna to.

SOLID. I love the hype of Coke Studio Summer Concert! A bit sad though because I wasn't able to bring home a limited edition jacket, mejo hassle makumpleto yung 5 stamps, sa 2nd stamp palang, we already waited for more than an hour. 3 stamps lang na-achieve namin. Mesheket she paa kasi naka-heels ako and I know there was no one to blame but me, bat kasi ako nag-heels, deba? Haha! Note to self na hindi naghi-heels sa mga gantong event pala. Lesson learned. 😁

While on the line for the 2nd stamp, which I mentioned more than 1hour kami nag-antay, naging friend ko na yung nauuna samin sa pila. Look what good things come out of odd situations, right. That must be one of the best experiences I've had in this event, nakilala namin si Juday. She's crazy and fun! Nag-enjoy ako kasama sya hanggang sa loob ng arena, tabi-tabi na kaming nanuod ng concert. Wala syang arte, and she rides on sa mga pagtili ko kay Shanti at Abra. 😄 Sya din tumitili on her favorite artists, parang antagal na namin magkakilala ganun. Haha. I really do hope we could attend other events together in the future.

The tix I won for this event was valid for general admission, pero mejo maluwag pa sa ibang areas and Coke is just so generous, we were privileged to occupy the upper box, ang saya. From there, tanaw na tanaw naman yung stage tsaka feel na feel yung spirit.

Coke theme officially opened the concert, followed by KZ's pa-hype performance. Then Urbandub's First of Summer. Then Khalil. Then Quest-Juan Miguel Severo tandem of ballad song + spoken poetry. Then collab between DJ Patty Tiu and Kriesha Chu. Tapos eto, I don't deny that I was a non-fan of IV of Spades. I rarely listen to their songs prior to this concert. Pero shet, sino ba ko para patunayan nila ng ganun yung sarili nila sa harap ko, sobrang galing pala nila! I swear I came in a non-fan, came out a super fan. Nung inintro nila yung Mundo, hala nabaliw ang mga tao. First two lines, they did not even have to sing the lyrics, tao lang ang kumanta. It was amazing, I love witnessing such unity in the audience. All through out their performance, literal na gusto ko mapanganga. Talagang nakuha ng IV of Spades yung respeto ko na nakaipon sila ng ganun kadaming believers ng music nila. At ako naman ang nabaliw nung tinawag na nila si Shanti Dope! Yun na, oh my God. They sang together a collab, then nung nag-solo na si Shanti singing his self-titled song, with DJ Buddah in the mix, alam ko pinaghandaan ko na yung moment na yon pero hindi e, nagwala pa din yung inner fangirl ko e! Tapos tinawag nya si Abra, juskooo my heart was so overwhelmed in the best way possible! Tumugtog yung Apoy tapos wala na, nabaliw na ko. Haha! I couldn't count the minutes all in all, including Abra's solo performance pero sure ako, yun ang highlights ng Coke Studio Summer Concert ko. That was why I went there. Love and hiphop, everybody.

Tapos Ben&Ben, with Sam Concepcion. Super chill ng Ben&Ben, sila yung cool down after hiphop performances, pero di din masyado nung kinanta nila yung Kathang Isip. I know, I feel it in the atmosphere, damang dama ng mga tao yung kanta. I enjoyed that part too! Then lastly, KZ and Apl D Ap. KZ never fails to amaze people. I don't say she's not serious about her craft, but she seems to just play with her performances pero ang galing. Sobrang galing, grabe. Fight me on this, pero KZ deserves the queenship.

Awit ng Kabataan closed the concert, with all the Coke Studio artists on stage. What a treat! Maraming salamat, Coca Cola! All the love for bringing life to OPM.
